LSDWP Duties

Your Duties as Los Santos Department of Water and Power

It is important to note that the Los Santos Department of Water and Power only operate within the city/county of Los Santos, they do not operate in Blaine County or Majestic County.

• Monitor Pump Plants - ensure that the pump plants and reservoirs are in proper working order.

• Perform Inspections - ensure that the reservoirs, debris basins, dam walls, drainage ditches, and walkways are in working order and free of any damage that would hinder operations or put the public at risk. 

• Inspect Department Facilities - perform inspections on LSDWP facilities and property gates to ensure that they are locked and in working order.

• Equipment Transport - transport equipment such as compressors, generators, portable pumps, boats, or portable toilets to vehicles such as trailers, cars, and/or trucks in order to transport them to and from reservoirs and facilities.

• Perform Minor Maintenance - clean graffiti off of equipment, buildings, and electrical cabinets/water reservoirs. Replacing the air filters in the air handling system, repairing water control lines/pipes, and repairing leaks/cracks at the control plants.

• Perform Major Repairs - repair downed power lines, traffic lights, sewer lines, water pipelines, and street lights.
