Public Works Uniform Policies
Index
The agencies/departments that have their own SOP will have their uniform policies written within their respective SOP's.
Some agencies/departments have their uniforms policies combined together into the General Uniform Policies section due to the similarities of the different policies that there would be no need to have 2 different policies with the same uniforms.
General Uniform Policies
When working on or near any roadway whether it be public or private, as well as any construction site you are required to wear a high-visibility vest in either yellow or green in color.
Any agency/department that has its own marked high-visibility vest you will be required to wear rather than the standard blank vest
You are required to wear a hard hat when performing maintenance/construction zones.
The hardhat can be any of the standard colors such as Orange, White, Blue, or Yellow.
Los Santos Department of Water & Power has its own hard hats which you will be required to wear when operating as that agency rather than the standard blank hard hats.
Blaine County Public Works has its own hard hat which you will be required to wear when operating as that agency rather than the standard black hard hats.
Coveralls, overalls, and blue jeans are approved for use on all maintenance/construction jobs.
The departments that have their own uniforms within EUP include SanTrans, Los Santos Department of Sanitation, Los Santos Department of Water & Power, and Los Santos Transit Maintenance.
Trash Collection Uniform Policies
When doing trash collection for Los Santos Department of Sanitation, you are required to wear the Sanitation coveralls, or the Waste collector outfit.
When doing trash collection for HOBO, you are required to wear either the Waste Collector outfit, or a more relaxed look with jeans, gloves and a unmarked jacket/shirt.
SanTrans Uniform Policies
When operating as SanTrans, you can either use the pre-configured EUP configurations, or you can use a more civilian looking uniform with jeans, a button up shirt, a SanTrans high-visibility jacket, a tool belt, gloves and either the marked SanTrans hard hat or a cowboy hat due to the fact that SanTrans does use some hard hat cowboy hats.
